About
Corporate S is the sans-serif component of Kurt Weidemann's three-part type system, completed between 1985 and 1990 alongside Corporate A (Antiqua) and Corporate E (Egyptian). Originally commissioned as an exclusive corporate typeface for DaimlerChrysler, it was subsequently released for general licensing. The WGL version extends the character set to cover Greek, Cyrillic and Eastern European Latin scripts. Six weights run from Light to Extra Bold, each with a companion italic.
