URW Classico is Hermann Zapf's interpretation of the Optima concept, using subtle flared terminations that sit between a humanist sans-serif and a classical serifed face. Published by URW Type Foundry since March 2000, the family covers Regular, Medium, Bold and Black weights with italics and a Condensed variant — eight fonts in total. The open-source edition, distributed under the Aladdin Free Public License, ships with Ghostscript.
