Dida
VJ Type · Jérémy Schneider · 2016

A single-weight display face with rounded geometric forms, originally drawn for the Parisian Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in 2016.
About
Designed by Jérémy Schneider for a Parisian theatre commission, Dida takes a heavy, rounded approach to geometric display lettering. Its large forms and soft construction give it a playful quality despite the weight, and it was conceived alongside Scalie as an expressive pairing. Available in one weight, it suits posters, logotypes and cultural identity work where typographic personality is the point.
Classification
A single-weight display typeface with large rounded shapes and geometric construction, designed expressly for theatrical use and expressive pairing contexts rather than text setting.
