Love
VJ Type · Jérémy Schneider · 2018

An all-caps display typeface inspired by the 1967 Love album Forever Changes, built around exaggerated counter-forms, thin stems and a generous set of alternates per letter.
About
Designed by Jérémy Schneider in 2018, the typeface draws directly from the visual world of American psychedelic rock, each letter offered in at least two stylistic variants with some receiving far more. The contrast between swelling counters and thread-like stems gives individual characters strong personality while still maintaining equilibrium across set words. An extensive ligature set and interchangeable alternates covering both upper and lowercase make it unusually flexible for a single-weight display font.
Classification
An all-caps display typeface with exaggerated counter-forms and thin stems, designed explicitly as a display font in a single weight. Its psychedelic rock inspiration and expressive alternates place it firmly in the display category.
