The letterforms are derived from archival sources, primarily a banner produced by LOSON during their eerherstel campaign for Anton de Kom, and cross-referenced against Dutch protest materials spanning the 1960s to 1980s. Strokes are upright and near-uniform in weight, with each character occupying roughly the same horizontal space regardless of internal structure, reflecting the logic of hand-lettering made to be read at scale across large crowds. The Dutch digraph IJ is included as a single glyph, drawn from banners produced by the feminist coalition Wij Vrouwen Eisen.
