Konstanz
W Type Foundry · Bruno Jara Ahumada

A grotesque sans with Bauhaus and Futura references across eight weights, aimed at editorial and cultural-institution work.
About
Designed by Bruno Jara Ahumada, Konstanz draws on grotesque convention while reintroducing geometric gestures from Bauhaus and Futura, giving it a cooler, more institutional character than a straight revival. Sixteen styles span Thin through Black with matching italics, and a stylistic set extends its versatility. The family is pitched at museums, galleries, design biennials and similar cultural contexts, as well as editorial, poster and branding applications.
Classification
Described as grotesque in aesthetic while drawing on Bauhaus and Futura geometric influences, placing it within a geometric-inflected grotesque tradition rather than a pure geometric sans.
