Wind Bell specimen from Wabi Sabi Type

An Art Nouveau-influenced display face drawing on early 20th century European advertising and 1960s psychedelic typography.

About

Wind Bell channels the warbly, organic lettering of Belle Époque advertising posters and the hallucinatory type experiments of 1960s counterculture print. The result is a display face suited to projects that want period atmosphere without resorting to straight pastiche. Works well for branding, editorial headers and packaging where a dreamlike, handcrafted character is called for.

Classification

The foundry explicitly references early 20th century European advertising, Art Nouveau aesthetics and 1960s psychedelia, placing Wind Bell firmly in the ornamental display tradition with wavy, expressive letterforms.
