Designed by Hamish Makgill and Luke Charsley in 2021, Auguste Serif traces its origins to the worn, stencilled surface of an old ceramic bottle whose letterforms blur the boundary between serif and sans-serif. The family runs from Light to Bold in four weights, each handling both body text and larger display settings without strain. It shares structural DNA with its companion Auguste Sans, allowing the two families to work in concert or independently.
