TWK Everett specimen from WELTKERN

A neogrotesque sans originating from Nolan Paparelli's diploma work at ECAL, balancing symmetrical structure with organic drawing and sharp apex details across 22 styles.

About

Developed at ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne and initially inspired by the photography of Daniel Everett, the family spans Hairline to Super with matching italics in a coherent 22-style range. Low ascenders and descenders allow tight line spacing for space-economising typesetting, and eight stylistic sets extend its range across book design, poster work, branding and signage. Spacing and kerning by Igino Marini, mastered by Jan Charvát.

Classification

Paparelli positions Everett explicitly within the neogrotesque genre, distinguished by symmetrical structure offset by organic drawing and sharp apex details rather than strict Swiss rationalism.
