Naive
Writtenshape · Raphaël de La Morinerie & Benoît Brun

A single-weight geometric display face reinterpreting Flemming Bau's circle-based 1972 typeface, extended with new uppercase characters for contemporary use.
About
Built on the circle-based logic of Flemming Bau's original 1972 Bau typeface, this revival adds a full uppercase set drawn on a geometric system that was absent from the source material. The letterforms carry a deliberately resistant quality, slowing reading in favour of visual impact, which makes them suited to posters, logotypes and headlines where attention is the primary goal. Designed by Raphaël de La Morinerie and Benoît Brun at Writtenshape, it covers an extended Latin character set.
Classification
Circle-based letterforms with psychedelic and geometric construction, derived from Flemming Bau's 1970s Bau typeface; clearly display-oriented with shapes that resist instant reading and suit headline and poster use.
