Bimbo Classic
Zetafonts · Francesco Canovaro · 2018

A monoline handwritten script family in seven styles, each named after a different pen or marker instrument, covering over 200 languages across Latin, Greek and Cyrillic scripts.
About
Designed by Francesco Canovaro in 2018, Bimbo Classic grew from an earlier collaboration with illustrator Jonathan Calugi on the Arsenale White typeface, expanding that design with six new weights and over 300 additional characters. The seven styles — from Ballpoint through to Dripping Jumbo — simulate the stroke quality of different writing tools, while open counters and a consistent monoline construction keep the letterforms legible at small sizes. A built-in OpenType letter-swapping feature ensures repeated characters never appear identical, preserving the irregularity of genuine handwriting.
Classification
A monoline script family designed to mimic handwritten marks from different pen tools; its even stroke weight and casual letterforms place it firmly in the monoline handwritten script category.
