Bogart
Zetafonts · Francesco Canovaro · 2020

A wide-ranging oldstyle fat face by Francesco Canovaro that draws on Cooper Black, Goudy Heavy Face, Bookman and Windsor across nine weights, three widths and an alternate text-oriented subfamily.
About
Designed in 2020 and drawing explicitly on the goopy, low-contrast forms of Cooper Black and Goudy Heavy Face, the family traces its lineage through rub-on transfers and phototypesetting culture of the 1960s and 70s. The lighter weights pull teardrop terminals from Windsor rather than collapsing into shapeless blobs, giving the family genuine range from display titling to readable text. Over 1,600 glyphs per style cover 219 languages across Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, with swash forms, small caps, stylistic sets and variable font support rounding out the offering.
Classification
A low-contrast oldstyle fat face drawing directly on Cooper Black, Goudy Heavy Face, Bookman and Windsor; the wide weight range and teardrop terminals at lighter weights place it firmly in the oldstyle display serif tradition.
