Designed by Francesco Canovaro and released in 2015, Brushstrike carries no lowercase characters, instead doubling the uppercase with a strikethrough alternate set accessible via OpenType features. Two weights, Light and Regular, share a consistent gestural brush aesthetic; the lighter weight is intended for use reversed out of dark backgrounds to create light effects. Coverage extends to 202 Latin-script languages across 422 glyphs.
