Casagrande
Zetafonts · Alberto Casagrande, Manuel Alvaro, Valentino Coppi, Mario De Libero · 2020

A 24-font display collection drawing on Italian poster and product design of the 1930s and 40s, built around six stylistically distinct sub-families.
About
Developed in 2020 by the Italiantype Team in collaboration with Italian lettering artist and illustrator Alberto Casagrande, the collection bundles six display families into a single package. Sub-families range from the Art Deco-influenced Antifascista and Deco (each with dithering or inline variants) to the modernist Casabau, the geometric Grind in four widths, and the script families Reclame and Casatiello. The package also includes an ornaments icon font, making it a self-contained toolkit for poster work, book covers and vintage-themed illustration.
Classification
A multi-family display collection spanning Art Deco, modernist, geometric and script styles, all rooted in Italian poster and product design of the 1930s and 40s. The diversity of sub-families makes display the only appropriate top-level category.
