Zetafonts · Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini, Francesco Canovaro, Andrea Tartarelli, Mario De Libero · 2014

A rounded geometric sans drawn on a sign-painting vernacular, expanded across five widths, seven weights, layerable display variants and variable font technology.
About
Originally designed by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini in 2013 and substantially overhauled in 2020, the family now spans 85-plus styles across Standard, Narrow, Condensed, Compressed and Ultracompressed widths. Decorative variants include Inline, Outlined, Block Border, Block Shadow and a Letterpress cut with programmed letter randomisation for an aged-print effect. Coverage extends to over 200 languages across Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, with nine stylistic sets, small capitals and a dedicated Text subfamily for body use.
Classification
Built on a geometric sans skeleton with rounded corners and very low stroke contrast, drawing on both modernist geometry and vernacular sign-painting traditions. Its tall x-height and bold colour push it firmly into display territory.
