Eastman specimen from Zetafonts

A large geometric sans family from Zetafonts spanning four widths, ten weights, and 176 styles, with Bauhaus-inflected construction and extensive alternate character sets.

About

Designed by Francesco Canovaro and Andrea Tartarelli in 2020, Eastman pairs monolinear strokes and a tall x-height with a weight range running from Thin to Heavy across Roman, Grotesque, Condensed and Compressed widths. Each width ships with a standard and an Alt cut, the latter pre-loading unusual alternate letterforms suited to display and logo work without needing to dig through the glyphs palette. Variable font versions covering weight, width and italic axes are available in the full package, and script coverage extends to Latin, Cyrillic and Greek across 219 languages.

Classification

Monolinear strokes, geometric construction influenced by Bauhaus ideals, with a nod to 19th-century grotesque proportions across four widths including a humanist-proportioned Grotesque subfamiliy.
