A grotesque sans super-family of 176 static styles plus two variable fonts, built across 11 widths and 8 weights, with an emphasis on ultra-narrow industrial letterforms that shift toward traditional rounded grotesque proportions as widths expand.
About
Designed by Francesco Canovaro and developed further by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Andrea Tartarelli, the family spans from tightly compressed, straight-sided widths suited to headers and wayfinding, through to wider display and body text cuts with matching italics. Over 1,100 characters cover 200+ languages in Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, and a full suite of OpenType features includes small caps, old-style figures, high-legibility alternates and squared punctuation. Variable font versions of both upright and italic are available with the full family package.
Classification
Described explicitly as a grotesque sans; the narrow widths exhibit an industrial quality with straight-sided letterforms, while wider widths follow more traditional rounded grotesque forms.
