Milligram specimen from Zetafonts

A 102-style grotesque super-family by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Andrea Tartarelli that borrows metal-type warmth to soften its modernist structure across display, text and width subfamilies.

About

Built across nine subfamilies spanning five widths and up to seven weights each, the family separates display and text spacing into dedicated cuts so each application gets appropriate aperture and tracking. The Macro subfamily pushes glyphs close together for dense, sculptural wordmarks and titling, while Milligram Text opens out for body copy and UI use. Slanted terminal cuts, slightly tapered verticals and soft curve joins give the grotesque structure a warmer reading texture without departing from its modernist proportions. Four variable font files covering roman and italic in both standard and Macro styles complete the release.

Classification

A grotesque sans-serif that draws on metal-type quirks such as slanted terminal cuts and tapered verticals rather than strict Swiss modernism, placing it firmly in the humanised grotesque tradition.
