A geometric sans in eight weights drawing on Alessandro Butti's 1930s Semplicità rather than Futura directly, with an alternate subfamily offering additional letterform variations.
About
Designed by Andrea Tartarelli with Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Francesco Canovaro, the family revisits the spare proportions of Butti's Semplicità while introducing its own takes on letter shapes and spacing. Italics carry slight calligraphic traces that make them suitable for display and logotype work in their own right. The Alternate subfamily adds further glyph variations across all eight weights, and the full set covers over 200 languages across Latin, Greek and Cyrillic scripts.
Classification
Rooted in the geometric modernist tradition via Futura, but filtered through Alessandro Butti's Semplicità, giving it a slightly warmer, more individual character than a pure geometric sans.
