Thicker
Zetafonts · Francesco Canovaro, Andrea Tartarelli · 2019

A geometric sans spanning ten weights from Thin to Extrablack, built around the muscular proportions of sports typography with a nod to Novarese's Eurostile.
About
Designed by Francesco Canovaro and Andrea Tartarelli, Thicker began at the extrablack end of the weight range before being extended downward into lighter cuts where vintage-inspired proportions and slightly squared forms emerge. Three alternate italic forms with variable slant add the dynamism expected of sports and advertising work. The family covers 44 styles including Inline and Destroy variants, with two variable fonts spanning the full weight axis, and a character set of over 900 glyphs across Latin, Greek and Cyrillic covering 218 languages.
Classification
A geometric sans-serif with squared, slightly rounded terminals drawing on Eurostile's proportions, built for high-impact display use in sports and advertising contexts.
