About
Designed in 2008 and released in 2022, BLine was developed by connecting the skeletal points of BDot, making the dot-based typeface the necessary precursor. Its very large x-height gives it strong legibility at small sizes in print and on screen, and it has already proved itself at architectural scale in the sign system of Les Halles in Paris and in the visual identity of BULAC, the university library of languages and civilisations. Twelve styles run from ExtraThin to ExtraBold with matching italics, supported by a rich glyph set of over 820 characters including circled and framed letterforms via Stylistic Sets.
