Untitled Sans
Klim Type Foundry · Kris Sowersby · 2017

A plain neo-grotesque drawn around Morrison and Fukasawa's Super Normal idea, deliberately ordinary and wearable across editorial and branding.
About
A neo-grotesque sans by Kris Sowersby drawn around the Super Normal project of Jasper Morrison and Naoto Fukasawa, deliberately resisting personality at the level of the individual letter. Five weights from Light to Black run with italics, and a variable weight axis is supplied with the full family. Pairs by concept (rather than skeleton) with Untitled Serif, and gets used widely by brands wanting a sans that recedes into the design system rather than performing.
Classification
Klim classifies it as Modern: Lineal/Neo-grotesque; a plain neogrotesk sans validated by the ideas of Jasper Morrison and Naoto Fukasawa's Super Normal project, with a deliberate aesthetic of not being designed by anyone in particular.
