Two Type System specimen from Muirmcneil

A system of 15 modular typeface families sharing a common glyph set and grid, spanning dot, bar, stroke, stencil and other geometric construction approaches across up to nine weights each.

About

MuirMcNeil's Two Type System brings 15 typeface families under a single structural framework, with every glyph mapped to a common grid to ensure calibrated visual consistency across the entire collection. The families range from TwoBar Mono and TwoDot through to TwoStroke and TwoTone, each exploring a distinct construction method whilst maintaining formal coherence with the rest of the system. At 418 fonts in total, it is a thorough and disciplined exploration of modular type design for display and graphic contexts.

Classification

The Two Type System is a collection of modular display typefaces constructed from a shared glyph set on a common grid, spanning dot, stroke, stencil, bar and other geometric construction methods typical of display and experimental type systems.
