Nice To Type · Gabriel and Jonas

A high-contrast serif and companion sans with hand-drawn origins, ranging from extreme hairlines to ultra-black weights across variable fonts with 300+ built-in emojis.
About
Conceived at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences and rooted in a comic-like reworking of Bodoni, Golzheim and Golzheim Sans run ten weights from Hairline to Black with matching italics and variable font support for both weight and italic axes. Distinct spurs, occasional unsteady strokes and a small x-height carry a sense of movement throughout, while multiple stylistic sets offer open counters and continuous stroke variants for additional expressive range. Over 385 symbols including more than 300 emojis are embedded across all styles, with scribbled strikethroughs and Private Use Area characters extending the palette further.
Classification
Golzheim is a high-contrast serif with Bodoni-like origins, featuring expressive stroke variation from hairline to ultra-black and distinct spurs with a hand-drawn, comic-influenced character. A companion sans-serif subfamily (Golzheim Sans) is included but the primary family is the serif.
