Golzheim Sans
Nice To Type · Gabriel and Jonas

A hand-drawn grotesque with comic origins, spanning ten weights with italics, variable font support, and over 300 bundled emojis.
About
Born from a student-era concept at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Golzheim Sans pairs with its serif counterpart to form a family rooted in the tension between hairline pencil and ultra-black marker. Distinct spurs in the lowercase and intentionally unsteady strokes carry a sense of movement across the full weight range, while stylistic sets for open counters and continuous strokes extend the expressive palette. Both families ship as variable fonts with weight and italic axes, and every font includes over 385 emoji and custom symbols mapped to the Private Use Area.
Classification
Golzheim Sans is a grotesque/humanist sans with hand-drawn origins, featuring expressive stroke weight variation, distinct spurs in the lowercase, and an unsteady rhythm that gives it an organic, drawn quality rather than a purely geometric or neutral character.
