Takeoff A
Nice To Type · Gabriel Richter · 2022

A geometric sans by Gabriel Richter built around a consistent 15° angle drawn from aircraft take-off trajectories, available in standard and reversed contrast styles with a spike variant and full variable font support.
About
Horizontal stroke terminals cut at 15° give the family its visual coherence across normal, reversed contrast and spike subfamilies, the last of which shifts from aggressive to near-humanist depending on the spike axis setting. The variable font covers four independent axes: weight, italic, spike and reversed contrast, and these can be combined freely. Spacing and kerning by Igino Marini, with a broad Latin Extended character set covering over 100 languages.
Classification
Streamlined, slightly extended letterforms with angled 15° stroke terminals and reversed contrast variants place this firmly in geometric sans territory, with distinctive graphic detailing that sets it apart from neutral grotesques.
