The B subfamily is the reversed-contrast branch of Takeoff, where the usual stress distribution is inverted to give greater airiness and a more leisurely visual rhythm. Line endings across both the static and variable versions are cut at 15 degrees, the average take-off angle of an aircraft, producing open, easily legible forms that work across logos, headlines, body copy and signage. A spike axis in the variable font allows stroke endings to shift from subtly angled to aggressively sharp, with the full variable font data included when purchasing the complete static family.
