Items Condensed is the condensed width of the Items display branch, with a tight letter fit and tapered joints aimed at larger sizes. Six weights from Thin to Black with matching italics give it the range to handle headlines, mastheads and packaging where horizontal economy matters. The Condensed Black in particular is described by the foundry as having qualities similar to the punchy Times variant seen on paperback designs by Fleckhaus. It sits inside a wider Items system that also extends into Standard and Wide widths and into the Items Text branch for body sizes.
