The family splits into three subfamilies: Munchenstein Slab as a standalone regular and colour variant, Munchenstein Text covering Light through Black with slanted styles, and Munchenstein Display running from Hairline to Black with both slanted and backslanted cuts. The backslanted option is a distinctive feature rarely seen in slab families, giving the display range an expressive, unconventional character. A colour font variant adds further depth for headline and identity use.
