The Woodkit family is organised as a system of components rather than weights, with each subfamily offering Alphabet A, Alphabet B, Blocks, Ornaments and Figures as separate purchasable units. Three subfamilies cover different printing effects: Reprint, Solid and Print. The city-named sub-units (Amsterdam through Fortaleza) allow selective purchase of individual component sets for layered, letterpress-inspired composition.
