Part of the broader Woodkit system alongside Woodkit Print and Woodkit Reprint, Solid presents capitals and figures as components designed to be assembled in the manner of vintage wood type. The system is organised into named sub-sets covering two alphabet variants, blocks, ornaments and figures, each available separately. It is well suited to editorial, poster and identity work where a hand-printed, constructivist aesthetic is wanted without sacrificing typographic structure.
