About
Built around the engineered structure of DIN 1451, Dorival UI introduces diagonal terminals and a degree of stroke contrast to soften the mechanical rigidity. Its key technical feature is multiplexed spacing: every weight shares identical glyph widths and kerning, so switching weights in a layout causes no text reflow or repositioning. The family spans seven weights with matching italics across three widths, Normal, Narrow and Condensed, making it serviceable for both screen interfaces and print.
Classification
Loosely derived from the engineered geometry of DIN 1451, with subtle humanistic traits such as diagonal terminals and mild stroke contrast, placing it firmly in the geometric sans tradition with a functional, screen-oriented character.
