Diverse A is the monolinear entry in a three-family system that steps through increasing stroke contrast, all sharing identical spacing and kerning so families can be swapped within a layout without adjustment. Six weights run from Light to Black with true italics, totalling 12 styles, and an extended OpenType feature set offers geometric alternates that shift the calligraphic character of the letterforms. Six years in development, the project draws on Noordzij's broad-nib pen model to define how orientation determines stroke contrast across the three families.
