Items Standard is the standard-width display cut of the Items family. Tight letter fit and slick tapered joints optimise it for crisp titles and headlines, and six weights from Thin to Black with matching italics extend its range across editorial hierarchy. It connects to Items Condensed and Items Wide on the width axis and to the Items Text branch for body sizes, all sharing the same constant top-serif angle and consistent contrast axis that the foundry use to overcome the limitations of Times and its peers.
