Saol Text is the smallest-size cut of the Saol family. The foundry describe it as optimised for smaller sizes with modest contrast, with the family's Victorian terminals and taut shoulders softened just enough to remain readable in body copy. Seven weights from Thin to Bold including a Book weight, all with matching italics, give it editorial range, and the flamboyant swash italic carries through. Pair it up to Saol Standard and Saol Display for headlines and subheads.
