Spot Mono is the fixed-pitch flavour of Spot and the family's starting point: the foundry note that the Mono came first and informs the whole family. Uniform stroke width, rounded ends and distinctive dots evoke a typebar hitting an inked ribbon and digging into the paper, while a wide stance and large x-height keep it readable. Four weights from Light to Bold with matching italics, plus innovative fractions, sub- and superscripts and a kit of playful and functional icons, suit code, technical documentation and warm display work alike. Pair with Spot Grotesk and Spot Semi-Mono.
