Woodkit Print
Setup Type · Ondrej Jób · 2014

A caps-only, modular display family by Ondrej Jób built on a strict square grid as an homage to physical wooden type blocks.
About
Part of the wider Woodkit type system alongside Solid and Reprint, Print comprises six styles rooted in the aesthetic of wood type and children's alphabet blocks. Every glyph fills its square not just horizontally but vertically, a constraint that drives unexpected constructional solutions and enforces visual interchangeability between styles. The family covers over 109 languages across Basic Latin, Extended Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, with tabular lining, proportional lining and proportional oldstyle figures alongside ligatures and contextual alternates.
Classification
Caps-only, modular, experimental typeface inspired by wood type and letterpress tradition, with every glyph filling a strict square grid — firmly in the display/decorative category.
