About
Part of a three-family type system inspired by wood type and letterpress, Woodkit Solid comprises six distinct styles covering alphabet designs, components and ornaments. The defining structural rule — each glyph occupies an equal square both horizontally and vertically — is a direct homage to physical wooden blocks, and yields surprising interchangeability between styles and a playful, building-block quality. Across 1,150 glyphs it covers Basic Latin, Extended Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, with tabular and proportional figure sets and contextual alternates for additional versatility.
