Part of the broader Parmigiano system, Piccolo is designed for small text sizes where contrast and spacing must compensate for optical reduction. Six weights run from Thin to Black, each with a matching italic, giving significant range across a single optical cut. The system as a whole spans Piccolo, Caption, Text and Headline, with a variable version of the Text cut also available, making it a thorough solution for multi-size editorial and book typography.
