Part of a large interconnected type family built for The Independent's daily print and digital editions, this condensed sans shares underlying structure and proportions with the wider Independent suite. Five weights run from Light to Black, suited to headline stacking and space-constrained layouts. The broader Independent family won a D&AD Yellow Pencil in 2014 and the Typeface Design prize at the Tokyo TDC in 2015.
