Lateral Ultra Compressed is the narrowest width in the seven-width Lateral system. The flat segments at curve extremes are at their most pronounced, producing emphatically straight-sided rounds and brutalist verticals; the foundry note that the family's widest width takes more than five times the space of this narrowest one. Seven weights from Thin to Black with matching italics suit posters, mastheads and other display work where vertical economy is the point.
