Zed Round Compact specimen from Typotheque

A rounded, compact-width cut from Typotheque's Zed superfamily, one of the most extensively structured geometric sans systems available.

About

Zed Round Compact is one node in an unusually thorough system that spans nine widths, three optical subfamilies (Display, Round and Text), and nine weights from Hairline to Black, with upright, slanted and backslanted styles throughout. The Round subfamily adds softened terminals to Zed's geometric skeleton, distinguishing it from the sharper Display cuts. A variable font is also available, giving access to the full width and weight range in a single file.

Classification

Zed is a large geometric sans superfamily with display, round and text optical subfamilies across many widths; Round Compact sits in the display-oriented rounded variant at a compact width, making display the most fitting category.
